In Italy the need to increase, rationalize and plan properly the “green” in the cities is felt so much that in 2013 was made a new law in order to increase its diffusion.
To reach this target is necessary to activate a number of instruments, in which urban green infrastructure , like green roofs and green walls, can play a decisive function.
In our cities very often we have to front lack of space and urban rules, so the only way to increase green surfaces is to use urban green infrastructure.
It is always necessary to underline that urban green infrastructures help to reduce the “heat island effect”, let manage better the raining water and grow the psyco physical wellness of population.
All this benefits have a strong positive influence in the urban economy.
Perché le infrastrutture verdi urbane sono importanti per l’Italia?
In Italia la necessità di incrementare e razionalizzare il verde urbano è talmente sentita che nel 2013 è stata emanata una legge apposita per incentivarne la diffusione.
Ma per raggiungere questo obiettivo è necessario attivare una varietà di strumenti, tra cui le infrastrutture verdi urbane come il verde pensile e quello verticale. Questi ultimi possono rappresentare una componente decisiva nello sviluppo del verde urbano caratterizzato spesso da limiti di spazio e vincoli urbanistici.
Il verde urbano, è sempre necessario ricordarlo, aiuta ad abbattere le alte temperature estive, consente di regimare le acque piovane ed incrementa il benessere psico fisico della popolazione.
Tutti questi benefici si ripercuotono in modo rilevante anche nell’economia della Società urbana.
